Self Work vs. Team Work

Happy Monday!!!!!! Best wishes for the best week to all of you small business owners and those sitting in the rear deciding if you want to take a chance on a new idea and/or invention as a stream of income, legacy, enhancement to your life or just retirement funds to keep you active in this much thought of inactive society. Can you believe it the beginning of a brand new month and we're almost halfway through the year? Whoa, to say the least, right? We'll, this section of the blog is dedicated to the more business like streams of thought that the author finds relent for the time of year or current state of affairs.

Self work is generally defined as doing an activity, ritual, practice or assignment that increases awareness for your personal habits and growth. Pretty general for working on yourself. In the world of business we call that professional development. This is a very integral part of staying current with your industry, clientele, consumers or overall practice if you have a specialty or provide a specific private services to your consumers. Most you have been in your perspective line of business long enough to have a great idea of what your clients expect from your product and/or service. However, things are changing every single day and the local news only gives updates once. So, as you peruse information on your day-to-day professional activity, be sure to write down and or make a mental note of things you find that might be of interest to you. Today the most pertinent things that come to mind are: virtual hosting support services, online social networking and SEO optimization support. All of which are things that vary by industry and company necessity, so you should have more than enough opportunity to learn new habits and tools to make you and your client experience better.

Teamwork is the essentially extension of personal development when it comes to professionalism and quality assurance that meets your clients standards. Once you create an atmosphere of high standards and elite professional as a culture in your organization it is almost inevitable that your vendors, colleagues, associates and the like will be open-mind to most team building efforts and experiences. The few that come to mind are learning shared document ethics, communication with a company and/or organization milestone in mind and living beyond the office. These will as well extend beyond a specific topic of improvement and must be research to be applied appropriately. I hope this brings you closer for the week and motivates you and your team to reach for the stars!
